Lucid Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCID), maker of the world’s most advanced electric vehicles, today announced that Silvio Napoli has officially assumed his role as Chief Executive Officer, following the completion of the leadership transition process. This follows the previous announcement on April 14 regarding his selection as the company’s next CEO.
Commenting on the appointment, Turqi Alnowaiser, Chairman of Lucid’s Board of Directors, said: “On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to welcome Silvio as CEO at this pivotal stage in the company’s journey. The Board remains fully committed to supporting Lucid’s long-term future, and we have great confidence in Silvio’s leadership experience and his ability to drive the company toward further growth and success.”
For his part, Napoli stated: “After spending time with our teams and getting an up-close look at our products and technologies, I am even more confident in our ability to deliver consistent operational execution and create sustainable, long-term value. Napoli brings extensive experience in leading industrial and manufacturing enterprises, having most recently served as Chairman and CEO of Schindler. His expertise includes managing large-scale global operations, financial oversight, and technology-driven manufacturing environments. Marc Winterhoff, who served as Interim CEO, has returned to his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will report directly to Napoli.
