    Doha: Qatar topped the list of Arab nations and ranked sixth worldwide in terms of average wages, according to the statistics published by Numbeo, an online database statistics website.

    11 more Arab nations made the top 100 list of countries where employees enjoy the highest average monthly pay after tax deductions.

    Top 10 countries with highest average monthly net salary:

    ■ (2) Luxembourg ($5,180.70)
    ■ (3) Singapore ($5,032.35)
    ■ (4) United States ($4,658.96)
    ■ (5) Iceland ($4,259.03)
    ■ (6) Qatar ($4,130.45)
    ■ (7) UAE ($3,581.87)
    ■ (8) Denmark ($3,539.42)
    ■ (9) Netherlands ($3,521.84)
    ■ (10) Australia ($3,362.47)

    Arab countries with highest average monthly net salary:

    ■ (6) Qatar ($4,130.45)
    ■ (7) UAE ($3,581.87)
    ■ (22) Kuwait ($2,526.41)
    ■ (27) Oman ($2,220.83)
    ■ (28) Saudi Arabia ($2,040.53)
    ■ (61) Jordan ($627.48)

    ■ (80) Morocco ($396.75)
    ■ (91) Tunisia ($298.68)
    ■ (93) Algeria ($268.91)
    ■ (99) Egypt ($148.1)

    India was ranked 63rd with an average salary of $584.08, while the Philippines was placed 89th with an average salary of $310.15.

    The list also includes Bangladesh at 94th, Nepal at 95th, Sri Lanka at 96th, and Pakistan at 98th positions.
