As the city settles into the gentler rhythm of Ramadan, Grand Mercure Business Bay invites guests to gather for unhurried evenings of togetherness launches-14th-edition-for-2026-with-major-industry-overhaul/”>with a generous Iftar buffet at Café Délices’ alfresco dining overlooking Dubai water canal and Burj Khalifa. Thoughtfully paced and warmly hosted, the experience is designed for those who like their Ramadan nights to feel abundant yet easy, with classic tastes, live stations, and classic dessert selections in the spotlight.

Ramadan brings with it the familiar rituals residents and tourists look forward to: the first sip of laban, the comfort of soup at sunset, and tables that fill with conversation as the evening unfolds.

The Iftar served from sunset at AED 129 per adult, kids under 6 years old get for free while AED 79 applies to kids who are from 6 to 12 of age, features a selection of traditional Ramadan juices such as jalab, kamar al dein, or tamer hindi, alongside comforting soups including lentil, chicken orzo or Moroccan harira. The main spread moves from crowd-pleasing grills to regional favourites, with highlights that may include mixed grill (kofta kebab, shish taouk, shish kebab), kossa bil laban, Bahraini thareed, Arabic specialities’ Ouzi and chicken machboos complemented by seasonal sides and international touches. For many, the moment that seals the deal arrives at the live Arabian grill carvery paired with freshly baked Arabic breads in flavours like zaatar, sesame, and chilli.

Dessert, of course, is its own little celebration

Expect a sweet finale that can feature cheese kunafa, qatayef (katatef) with keshta, saffron muhallabieh, sutlac, date cheesecake, a dates tower, and assorted Arabic sweets.

For Suhoor, Grand Mercure Business Bay keeps things intentionally convenient, offering a Suhoor set menu at AED 75 per person, alongside an à la carte selection starting from AED 25, available exclusively through in-room service from late night until early morning, ideal for guests who prefer a quiet, private pre-dawn meal before the day begins.
